Obit: C.T. Courtney, 65, died Wednesday night at his home near Perry, after a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Taylor County. He worked for the State Road Department as a prison warden, and had been a rural mail carrier since 1960. He was a member of the Spring Warrior Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lorine Courtney, Perry; four daughters, Mrs. Betty Jean Morgan and Mrs. Wayne Strickland, both of Perry; Mrs. Glenn Philmon, Steinhatchee, and Mrs. John C. Byrne, Panacea; 14 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Perry Towles, Perry, and Mrs. Foye Gamble, Perry.¹

     Biography of Barbara Lee Botsford:

A native of Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Howard Allen Botsford and Helen M. Simmons, married Wilburn Kelly 16 August 1950 at Bunnell, Flagler, Florida. She lived in Richfield Township, Genesee, Michigan, until 1947 before her family moved to Flagler County. They are found living in Flagler Beach, Flagler, Florida, in 1950. She was a graduate of Bunnell High School, where she met classmate Wilburn Allen 'Buddy' Kelly. Barbara died at the age of 65 in St. Augustine, Florida. During her career, she worked as secretary for a Judge and the Clerk of Courts in Saint Johns County. She ended her career working for the Florida Department of Transportation.¹

     Delores Clotilde Sannicolas Kamminga was born on 7 November 1935 at Agana, Guam, United States.¹ She married Charles Louis Kelly, son of George Bunion 'GB' Kelly and Vera V. Sadler Stephens, on 17 June 1956 at Idaho, United States.¹ She died on 26 October 1997 at Riverside, California, United States, at age 61.¹ She was buried at Riverside, California, United States.¹

Delores, known as Dee-Dee, met and married Charles Louis Kelly, Sr. while he was stationed on the United States island of Guam.¹

     Otis Kelly was born on 11 December 1905.¹ He was the son of George Bunion Kelly Sr. and Hattie Lufair King. He died on 14 June 1908 at age 2.¹

     Vera V. Sadler Stephens was born on 2 January 1912 at Perry, Taylor, Florida, United States.¹ She married George Bunion 'GB' Kelly, son of George Bunion Kelly Sr. and Hattie Lufair King, on 4 December 1927 at Perry, Taylor, Florida, United States.¹ She died on 20 September 1993 at Bunnell, Flagler, Florida, United States, at age 81.¹ She was buried at Espanola, Flagler, Florida, United States.¹
     Biography of Vera V. Sadler Stephens:

Raised in Taylor County, Vera V., Sadler Stephens, daughter of William Allen Stephens and Mary W. Ethel Sadler, was a cook at the Green Tile Cafe in the late 1940's and early 1950's. She later worked as the first female Fire Control Dispatcher for the Florida Division of Forestry on the Wadsworth Fire Tower for 10 years. They always grew large vegetable gardens, as demonstrated by her endless table full of food. Vera was especially proud of her green thumb demonstrated by her extensive array of plants and flowers. She was a member of Eastern Star.¹

     Woodrow Wilson Kelly was born on 14 June 1913 at Perry, Taylor, Florida, United States.¹ He was the son of George Bunion Kelly Sr. and Hattie Lufair King. He died on 2 June 1995 at Tallahassee, Leon, Florida, United States, at age 81.¹ He was buried at National Cemetery, Tallahassee, Leon, Florida, United States.¹
     Biography of Woodrow Wilson Kelly:

Woodrow Wilson Kelly was 34 and Mildred was 16 when they eloped to Georgia. Mildred said that when Woodrow first saw her, he said she was the girl he was going to marry. It caused a bit of a rift in the family when Woodrow changed his affiliation to the Baptist denomination. Despite disapproval, Woodrow fully embraced the Baptist church, holding the position of Deacon for many years. He had wavy black hair and deep blue eyes. "He was a Southern gentleman."      Edgar Ray Chappell was born on 17 December 1919.¹ He married Lufair Elizabeth Morgan, daughter of Calvin Green Morgan and Vera Izena Kelly, in January 1954.¹ He died on 8 March 2014 at age 94.¹

     Noah Clifton Kelly was born circa 1804 at Greene, Georgia, United States. He was the son of Daniel Kelly and Sally Clifton. He died circa 1825 at Morgan, Georgia, United States.

Noah Clifton Kelly is the adopted son of Daniel Kelly and his wife, Sally Clifton. He is the biological son of John Clifton, brother of Sally Clifton. John Clifton who died about 1804, leaving three children: Daniel b. 1795, Reuben Brown b. 1800 and Noah b. 1804, who were adopted by Daniel Kelly and Sally Clifton. Noah adopted the Kelly surname and was known as Noah Clifton Kelly his entire life.
