Biography of Joseph Colin 'JC' Kelly:
(When a boy loses his father , he loses the only man that truly wants him to be better than him.) I lost my Father when I was a boy, I was just under 7. Daddy was an Iron worker out of Jacksonville Florida local 597. At the hall, there is a monument of the fallen Iron workers with his name on it- he was also USAF veteran. I don’t know much and only remember a little, but I was told a few stories. He was always on the stopwatch and timing his drive times to different places in Taylor County FL to see if he could best his times. He liked to drive fast, I know that as he passed that on to his children. I also remember fishing and hunting, he was a dead eye with a rifle or shotgun I remember doing this with him a few times. He passed all that down as well. The one thing I will always remember is I felt Loved. I will never forget him and never know what could have been and how much difference the family and the world would have been with you in it Joseph Collins Kelly JC ! I will never forget, Your Son, Michael Patrick Kelly August, 2024.1

A remembrance by Michael Patrick Kelly: Colin Kelly was my uncle. He once flipped a boat with me in it. I barely have a memory of the incident, but that’s how the story was told to me. Colin was the one who talked to me about the accident when his brother, my Dad, J.C. Kelly, Jr., lost his life when I was not yet seven years old. He helped me to understand by telling me that my father had taken a new job, helping to building heaven's golden gate. I don’t believe I would have been the man I am without Colin's knowledge and lessons. He is part of who I am.1
