     Biography of Edgar Rayford Morgan:

'Ray' was adopted by his grandparents Calvin and Vera I. (Kelly) Morgan. Obit: Edgar Rayford "Ray" Morgan, 73, of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, Oc.t 20, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family. Ray worked with the Perry Police Department where he retired as a sergeant after 25 years of service to his community. He preceded in death by his parents and one brother. He is survived by: his former spouse, Alice, (they remained good friends); three dogs, Kato, Pruddy Girl and Dot Dot, aka Big Nose Kate; three children, Wendy (John) Ward, Steve (Summer) Morgan and Jackie (Randy) Hearne; four brothers; six grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service is planned Saturday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m., at Salem Baptist Church. All arrangements are under the direction of Beggs Funeral Home of Perry.¹

     Kimberly Morgan was born on 17 May 1963.¹ She was the daughter of Vergil Monroe Morgan Sr. and Mary Frances Buehler. She died in August 2010 at age 47.¹

     Linda Fay Morgan was born on 28 December 1948 at Taylor, Florida, United States.¹ She was the daughter of Ishmael Worth Morgan and Eudith Jane Faulkner. She married Jerry Ronald Kirkland in December 1966 at Taylor, Florida, United States.¹ She died on 1 January 2009 at Taylor, Florida, United States, at age 60.¹ She was buried at New Hope Cemetery, Taylor, Florida, United States.¹

     Eudith Jane Faulkner was born on 27 August 1926 at Florida, United States.¹ She married Ishmael Worth Morgan, son of Calvin Green Morgan and Vera Izena Kelly, circa 1947 at Florida, United States.¹ She died on 19 September 1968 at Taylor, Florida, United States, at age 42.¹

     Mildred Avergane Deal was born on 11 September 1922 at Carbur, Taylor, Florida, United States.¹ She married Ishmael Worth Morgan, son of Calvin Green Morgan and Vera Izena Kelly, circa 1968.¹ She died on 29 April 2004 at Taylor, Florida, United States, at age 81.¹

     Reva Padgett married Augustus Alexander 'Gus' Kelly, son of George Bunion Kelly Sr. and Hattie Lufair King, on 26 May 1940 at Taylor, Florida, United States.¹ She died.¹
