     David was born on 30 January 1937 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.¹ He was the son of Joseph T. Burval and Cecilia Frances Halter.      Edna was born on 24 April 1904 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. She was the daughter of Edward Michael Burval and Anna Mary Ineman. She married Allan Hartly Fisher, son of Willis W. Fisher and Anna Hartly, on 7 September 1931 at Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.² Edna died in June 1957 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio, at age 53.
     Edna's occupation: Stenographer.

     Edward was born on 6 January 1876 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. He was the son of Frantisek "Frank" Burval and Frantiska "Frances" Havlickova. He married Anna Mary Ineman, daughter of John Ineman and Mary Dezort, on 18 May 1898 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.¹ Edward died on 25 September 1959 at Lakewood Hospital, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, at age 83.² His body was buried on 28 September 1959 at Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.³

     Effie was born in November 1895 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. She was the daughter of Frank Burval and Anna Hubert. Effie died on 13 March 1896 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.¹ Her body was buried on 14 March 1896 at Woodland Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.²
     
Biography of Effie Burval:

Effie was the first born child of Frank and Anna. She died at age 5 months of gastric and capillary bronchitis. She is buried in Woodland Cemetery in an unmarked grave about 50 feet east of the graves of all her grandparents Frank Burval, Frances Havlickova, Josef Hubert and Mary Krejci.

     Elizabeth was born on 19 July 1900 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. She was the daughter of Edward Michael Burval and Anna Mary Ineman. She married Donald Charles Seager, son of Charles Edward Seager and Cora Gertrude McCrea, on 6 October 1926 at St. Cecilia Church, Shaker Hgts., Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.² Elizabeth died in November 1989 at Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, at age 89.³

     Evzen was born on 11 June 1958 at Hermanuv Mestec, Okres Chrudim, Czech Republic. He was the son of Karel Burval and Marie Stepankova. Evzen Burval died on 5 March 2006 at Chrudim, Okres Chrudim, Czech Republic, at age 47. He was cremated on 10 March 2006 at Pardubice, Okres Pardubice, Czech Republic.

     Florence was born on 19 November 1897 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Frank Burval and Anna Hubert. She married Loren Jacob Bullard, son of Elroy E. Bullard and Hattie M. Clouse, on 1 September 1920 at Old Stone Church., Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.² Florence died on 21 August 1989 at Willoughby, Lake Co., Ohio, at age 91.³ Her body was buried on 23 August 1989 at Highlawn Park Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.⁴

     Frances was born on 24 April 1873 at Lisna, Zdar nad Sazavou, Moravia, Czech Republic. She was the daughter of Frantisek "Frank" Burval and Frantiska "Frances" Havlickova. Frances died on 12 December 1874 at Lisna, Zdar nad Sazavou, Moravia, Czech Republic, at age 1.

     Franciscus was born on 8 October 1844 at Janovice c. 28, Okres Chrudim, Czech Republic.¹ He was the son of Frantisek Burval and Katerina Kubelkova.

     Frank was born on 15 December 1870 at Lisna, Zdar nad Sazavou, Moravia, Czech Republic.¹ He was the son of Frantisek "Frank" Burval and Frantiska "Frances" Havlickova. He married Anna Hubert, daughter of Josef Hubert and Mary Krejci, on 13 February 1895 at Woodland Ave Church, Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.² Frank died on 10 January 1963 at Euclid, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, at age 92.³ His body was buried on 12 January 1963 at Highlawn Park Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.⁴

Biography of Frank Burval:

Frank Burval arrived in New York City, at age 4, on 6 May 1875 with his parents. He went to public schools in Cleveland and started work as a Baker about 1890. He was a Baker until 2 Oct 1911, when he bought a home and grocery store at 2434 East 89th St. in Cleveland. He raised chickens in the garage/barn in the rear of the property, sold groceries and butchered meat in the downstairs store and raised his family in the second floor living quarters. The store was located in a predominately ethnic Bohemian/Czech neighborhood. Frank sold the store on 27 May 1943 and retired from the grocery business at age 73. He and his wife Anna, moved to a small farm in Mentor, Ohio. During and after WWII he raised chickens, turkeys, rabbits, ducks and pigs on the farm.

      Frank did not apply to become a U. S. Citizen until 11 Jun 1917 when he filed his Declaration of Intention in the U. S. Northern District Court of Ohio. On 26 May 1921, at age 50, as well as, exactly 46 years and 20 days after he arrived in the United States, he became a U. S. Citizen and is thus the second Burval of foreign birth to obtain U. S. Citizenship. His father, became a U. S. citizen on 27 October 1892. Frank was very proud to have his citizenship as it allowed him to vote. The author has the original Certificate of Naturalization and the original Board of Elections certification card. Frank is described as fair complexion, height 5 feet 7 inches, weight 150 pounds, dark brown hair and brown eyes in his Declaration of Intention.

      Frank (or "Pa" as he was affectionately called by his grandchildren) was an active man all his life. He worked constantly in his grocery store and on the farm, even in his retirement. He loved to build and fix things and could usually be found with a hammer in his hand. He was very easy going, having a very pleasant disposition, always cheerful and showing great interest in what was going on around him, as well as, in the world. He seemed very content with life as he always whistled softly as he worked. He was not a man to take offense easily or to show anger. He is well loved and remembered by all who knew him.

      Frank died 10 Jan 1963, at age 92 at the home of his daughter, Florence, in Euclid, Ohio where he lived for the last several years of his life. He is buried in Highlawn Park Cemetery in Cleveland next to his wife Anna Hubert.
