     Frank was born on 6 September 1920 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. He was the son of Josef Burval and Anna Frances Klos. Frank died on 9 January 1989 at Holy Family Hospital, Des Plaines, Cook Co., Illinois, at age 68. His body was buried on 13 January 1989 at Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.

Biography of Frank Burval:


Frank was a graduate of Maine Township High School East and found an early love for farming and hog production. He also grew up learning the blacksmith trade, welding, and ornamental iron work from his father. Frank entered the U.S. Navy as a "Seebee" in December 1942 serving to the end of World War II. After the war he began work as a blacksmith at the International Harvester Co.. He worked there for 30 years before retiring. Frank was a dilgent and hard worker always providing for his family. He was especially a man of strong conviction in regard to tradition of family and togetherness, desiring only the best for his family. He died in 1989 of a heart attack at age 68. He is buried in Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois.
