     Edward was born on 2 January 1881 at Columbus, Muscogee Co., Georgia.¹ He was the son of John Rutherford Kelly and Virginia Killebrew. He married Talutie Pauline Hightower, .¹ Edward died on 19 July 1950 at Alabama at age 69.
     
Biography of Edward Ezekiel Kelly:

Edward Ezekiel Kelly had siblings: William Kelly, born 11/13/1876; Laurence Ke lly, born 12/26/1889; John Whitfield Kelly, born 2/4/1874;and Colia Kelly, born 10/7/1870.

     Eileen Kelly was the daughter of Homer W. Kelly and Carinel Ushur.

     Elinor was born in 1914 at Alabama.¹ She was the daughter of James Luther Kelly and Katie Blackman. She married William Sidney Barton, .¹ Elinor died in 1996.

     Elizabeth was born circa 1827 at Newton Co., Georgia. She was the daughter of Charles R. Kelly and Elizabeth Wiley. She married Samuel C. Scott, son of Taylor R. Scott, on 21 December 1848 at Randolph Co., Georgia.¹ Elizabeth died circa 1852 at Randolph Co., Georgia.
     
Biography of Elizabeth Kelly:

Based on the Census and Marriage records it would appear that Elizabeth Kelly, is the daughter of Charles R. Kelly. She married Samuel Scott in 1848. She appears to have died about 1852 and Samuel Scott married Elizabeth Kelly Scott's niece, Rebecca Kelly, daughter of George W. Kelly. This what the records suggest and this is supported by family notes taken by Cornelia Eleanor Kelly Jefferson. See text under Charles R. Kelly (1785-1863).

     Elizabeth Kelly was born on 1 May 1807 at Greene, Georgia. She was the daughter of John Kelly. Elizabeth Kelly married Elihugh Hall on 21 September 1825 at Greene, Georgia.¹

     Ellen was born circa 1853 at Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of Noah W. Kelly and Louisa Barr. She married Richmond Gates Snuggs, son of Richmond Gates Snuggs and Wincy Freeman Smith, on 15 October 1868 at Terrell Co., Georgia.²

     Elsie was born on 6 October 1924.¹ She was the daughter of Horton Kelly and Minnie Jones. Elsie died on 18 February 1963 at age 38.

     Emma was born in December 1881 at Terrell Co., Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of James Henry "Boog" Kelly and Ida L. Cozart.

     Ethel was born on 3 March 1882.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Henry Kelly and Mary Lee Borland. She married W. L. Miller, , on 28 November 1896.¹ Ethel died on 6 July 1960 at age 78.

     Ezekiel was born circa 1813 at Georgia. He was the son of Charles R. Kelly and Elizabeth Wiley. He married Elizabeth Smith, daughter of Alexander Smith, on 11 November 1834 at Newton Co., Georgia.² Ezekiel died on 24 June 1900 at Midland City, Dale Co., Alabama.² His body was buried at Sylvan Grove Cemetery, Dale Co., Alabama.³

Ezekiel B. Kelly is listed as head of household in the 1840 and 1850 Census of Jasper Co., Georgia. He is next found in the the 1860, 1870 and 1880 Census of Dale Co. Alabama. He moved into Alabama about 1857 based on the birthplace of his children.
