Sarah is listed as Sallie G., mother, living with Samuel B. Brannen in the 1880 Census of Taylor Co. The initial G. is possibly the first letter of her maiden name. That census shows both her parents were born Georgia. She was born Florida. However, earlier census records indicate she was born in Georgia which we believe to be correct.

     Sarah was born circa 1851 at Florida.¹ She married John David Tompkins, son of Benjamin Tompkins and Martha Hardie, circa 1873 at Florida. Sarah died after 1919.

     She married Christian Geiger, son of Hans Ulric Geiger and Appolina (--?--).¹

     She married Lucas Geiger, son of Abraham Geiger and Catharina Schellig.¹
