Edgar Theodric Tompkins married Maudie McDonough on 5 May 1906 at Brown Co., Texas.¹ Edgar died on 3 January 1944 at Brown Co., Texas, at age 71.¹ His body was buried at Rocky Creek Cemetery, Brown Co., Texas.

     Edmund was born circa 1859 at Washington Co., Georgia. He was the son of Francis Young Tompkins and Sarah Sheppard. He married Annie (--?--), , circa 1878.¹

     Edward was born in 1927 at Savannah, Chatham Co., Georgia.¹ He was the son of Robert Lee Tompkins and Julia Estelle Fountain. Edward died on 26 February 1934.

     Edwin was born circa 1818 at Washington Co., Georgia.¹ He was the son of Partin Tompkins and Elizabeth (--?--). He married Lucinda Randolph, , on 2 September 1843 at Randolph Co., Georgia.² Edwin died on 20 March 1892 at Covington Co., Alabama.
     
Biography of Edwin W. Tompkins:

Edwin is living next door to Partin Tompkins (1775) in the 1850 Census of Covington Co. Alabama. We feel he is too young to be the son of Samuel Tompkins (1765) and therefore must be the son of Partin.

     Obituary in March 31,1893 COVINGTON TIMES - Mr. Edward Tompkins died rather suddenly at the home of his son-in-law, Mr. George Russell, a few miles east of Andalusia, on Saturday evening last. He was in town during the day apparently in good health. After eating supper at Mr. Russell's he lighted his pipe and lay down on a pallet in front of the fire and was dead in a few minutes.
