HADDON EXPIRES FROM TROUBLE SATURDAY NIGHT ON WAY HOME

C. H. Haddon fell from a truck Saturday night about seven miles south of the city and died in about fifteen minutes after the accident occurred. Death was caused by heart trouble it is stated as no marks of injury were found on the body with the exception of a few bruises.

In company with George Kelley in whose truck Mr. Haddon was riding were John A. Wright, G. B. Kelley and J. R. Scott, who were on their way home from Perry where they had been transacting business for several hours.

Mr. Haddon only uttered a word or two after the fall. Attempts were made to revive him, but without avail and he was dead before medical aid could reach him.

Mr. Haddon, who was a farmer, was 46 years old and came here from Madison County a number of years ago. He was the son-in-law of G. T. Scott of Spring Warrior. He leaves a wife and five small children, one an infant of three weeks, besides a number of relatives in Madison County.

Interment took place in New Hope Cemetery Sunday afternoon, Rev. G. W. Stubbs, Pastor of the Methodist Church of Perry conducting the services. W. S. Whidden was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
