They had 2 sons, Richard and Robert. They were divorced when he was sent to Korea and the boys stayed in Macon with their mother and grandparents. He then met Eilene Christensen in Japan and they married in Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas in 1958. My father was killed January 27, 1968, while in Vietnam. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetary.
