Biography of Mary Lou Sheffield:

Aunt Lula, as she was called, never married. She lived at home with her parents until they died and then she lived in their house alone until she was unable to care for herself. She then moved in with her sister, Aunt Cullie Sheffield Williams. Buried in the Roberts Cemetery in Miller County with other family members.

     Maude was born on 7 October 1902 at Miller Co., Georgia.¹ She married Leon W. Wiley, son of Joseph Wesley Wiley and Virginia Barto Scott, on 10 October 1920 at Blakely, Early Co., Georgia. Maude died on 10 March 1985 at Donalsonville, Seminole Co., Georgia, at age 82. Her body was buried at Friendship Cemetery., Donaldsonville, Seminole Co., Georgia.

     Nancy was born on 30 October 1888 at Texas.¹ She was the daughter of James Isam Sheffield Sr. and Mary Jane Barclay. Nancy died on 15 August 1946 at Texas at age 57.

     Rachel was born on 22 August 1959. She was the daughter of Sam Scott Sheffield and Merle Ann Cochran. Rachel died on 9 July 1975 at age 15.¹ Her body was buried at Colquitt City Cemetery, Miller Co., Georgia.

     Robert was born on 30 November 1900.¹ He was the son of Joseph A. J. Sheffield and Margarett Ann Scott. Robert died on 15 December 1900 at Colquitt, Miller Co., Georgia, at age 0. His body was buried at Roberts Cemetery, Miller Co., Georgia.

     Robert was born on 7 March 1908 at Colquitt, Miller Co., Georgia.¹ He was the son of Joseph Clarence Sheffield and Margaret Houston. He married Fannie Pearl Bush, , on 20 October 1926 at Colquitt, Miller Co., Georgia.² Robert died in 1994 at Florida.¹

     Roena was born on 19 August 1899 at Colmesneil, Tyler Co., Texas.¹ She was the daughter of James Isam Sheffield Sr. and Mary Jane Barclay. Roena died on 23 September 1978 at Oak Island, Chambers Co., Texas, at age 79. Her body was buried after 23 September 1978 at Dallas, Dallas Co., Texas.

     Samuel was born on 3 March 1906 at Colquitt, Miller Co., Georgia.¹ He was the son of Joseph Clarence Sheffield and Margaret Houston. He married Mamie Lee Glass, , on 22 November 1922. Samuel died on 28 June 1977 at Colquitt, Miller Co., Georgia, at age 71. His body was buried at Blakely City Cemetery, Early Co., Georgia.

     Susannah was born on 24 February 1802 at Rhode Island.¹ She married William Henry Weeks, son of William Wicks, on 13 July 1817. Susannah died on 26 February 1885 at Elba, Genesee Co., New York, at age 83.

     Trottie was born on 1 January 1919 at Texas.¹ He was the son of Trottie S. Sheffield Sr.. Trottie died in March 1984 at Silsbee, Hardin Co., Texas, at age 65.
