Sanders
is Patrick's second wife. Ester claimed on her application to receive Patrick's Civil War pension after his death in 1916, that she married Patrick on 28 November 1886 in Leon County, Florida. She was not able to prove she had married Patrick as there was no record of her marriage to be found. As a result she was denied a pension. She is buried near Patrick in Beulah Church Cemetery, in Suwannee County, Florida.
