     Lester Sample was born circa 1904 at Texas. He was the son of John William Sample and Sevilla Viola Sampson. Lester Sample died circa 1904 at Hale Co., Texas.
     
Biography of Lester Sample:

Lester Sample died at birth and was a twin of Vester Sample. He is probably buried in the Old Plainview Cemetery, Plainview, Texas, in an unmarked grave.¹

     Lew E. Sample was born in October 1886 at Illinois. She was the daughter of Henry L. Sample and Sarah C. Stewart.

     Light T. Sample was born on 13 September 1802 at Warren Co., Kentucky. He was the son of David Sample and Mary "Polly" Townsend. Light T. Sample married Elizabeth Armstrong on 29 October 1822 at Madison Co., Illinois. Light T. Sample married Leah Jarrett Morris on 15 March 1855 at Morgan Co., Illinois. Light T. Sample died on 24 May 1865 at Sangamon Co., Illinois, at age 62. He was buried at Rogers Cemetery, Morgan Co., Illinois.

     Louisa "Lulu" Sample was born in 1849. She was the daughter of David Sample and Sarah Stout. Louisa "Lulu" Sample married Alfred Henderson. Louisa "Lulu" Sample died in 1905.

     Lucinda Sample was born on 4 November 1849 at Morgan Co., Illinois. She was the daughter of Jacob Sample and Mary B. "Polly" Hooser. Lucinda Sample married William Kidd. Lucinda Sample died before 1889.

     Lucinda Sample was born in 1863. She was the daughter of Samuel A. Sample and Elizabeth Morris.

     Lucy Belle Sample was born in 1889 at Kimball, Texas. She was the daughter of John William Sample and Sevilla Viola Sampson. Lucy Belle Sample married Lewis Vinson Martin on 1 January 1909 at Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma. Lucy Belle Sample died at Plainview, Hale Co., Texas. She was buried at Plainview, Hale Co., Texas.

     Lucy May Sample was born in July 1887 at Missouri. She was the daughter of James Henry Sample and Georgana McClanahan. Lucy May Sample married Irv Spence.
     
Biography of Lucy May Sample:

Lucy May Sample was married three times. Husbands (1) and (2) died, names unknown. Irv Spence was husband (3). In 1930 she worked for H. D. Lee Co., Kansas City. Dorothy Lea Sample Bridges, niece of Lucy, remembers visiting her Aunt Lucy in Prairie Village, Kansas. Lucy owned a restaurant and Lucy's younger sister, Nellie, worked for her for a time. Dorothy said Lucy's daughter moved her to Iowa, maybe Sioux City, when she was older and unable to live alone.¹

     Luther A. Sample was born in April 1898 at Missouri. He was the son of Wesley Holland Sample and Ida May Taylor.

     Luther E. Sample was born circa 1871 at Illinois. He was the son of Henry L. Sample and Sarah C. Stewart.
