     Field Sample was born on 28 March 1828 at Morgan Co., Illinois. He was the son of John Sample and Sarah "Sally" Pruitt. Field Sample married Mary Ann Ribelin on 5 November 1857. Field Sample died on 5 May 1906 at Cass Co., Illinois, at age 78.

     Flora Lee Sample was born on 21 April 1879. She was the daughter of Horace B. Sample and Mary E. Johnston. Flora Lee Sample died on 5 March 1880.

     Florence Sample was the daughter of John William Sample and Sevilla Viola Sampson. Florence Sample married (?) Day. Florence Sample died at Bell Gardens, Los Angeles Co., California.

     Floyd Sample was born on 18 August 1914 at near Carterville, Jasper Co., Missouri. He was the son of Newton Leroy Sample and Mary Elizabeth Allen. Floyd Sample died in February 1994 at Jasper Co., Missouri, at age 79.
     
Biography of Floyd Sample:

Joplin Globe, Joplin, Missouri, Sunday, Oct. 20, 1985: "Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Sample, Joplin route 1, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, in the Fellowship Hall of Frisco Church in Webb City. Floyd Sample and the former Bennie June Owens were married Oct. 27, 1935, in Joplin. He owned and operated Sample's Auto and Glass Shop in Carterville for many years. They have one daughter: Mrs. Carl (Darlene) Rose, Carterville. They also have three
grandchildren. The daughter and grandchildren will serve as hosts."¹

     Floyd David Sample was born in July 1881. He was the son of Granderson "Tan" Sample and Anna Anderson. Floyd David Sample died on 17 August 1952 at age 71. He was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood, Jackson Co., Missouri.

     Frances Delilah Sample was born circa 1843 at Illinois. She was the daughter of Aaron Sample and Anna W. Boyer. Frances Delilah Sample married John Davidson on 14 December 1861 at Macoupin Co., Illinois. Frances Delilah Sample died between 1863 and 1870 at probably Macoupin Co., Illinois.

     Francis Marion Sample was born on 26 February 1841 at Morgan Co., Illinois. He was the son of John Sample and Sarah "Sally" Pruitt. Francis Marion Sample married Dorothy Elizabeth Ribelin on 1 January 1864 at Morgan Co., Illinois. Francis Marion Sample died on 5 June 1907 at Morgan Co., Illinois, at age 66.

     Fredrick Sample was born circa 1885 at Missouri. He was the son of John William Sample and Sevilla Viola Sampson. Fredrick Sample married Clara Sly. Fredrick Sample died at Plainview, Hale Co., Texas. He was buried at Old Plainview Cemetery, Plainview, Hale Co., Texas.

     George Sample was born in 1868. He was the son of Samuel A. Sample and Elizabeth Morris.

     George A. Sample was born circa 1878 at Missouri. He was the son of Henry L. Sample and Sarah C. Stewart.
