She married George Washington Townsend, son of Israel Townsend and Julia Ann Townsend, on 24 November 1874 at Madison, Madison Co., Florida. Ellen died on 29 May 1929 at Suwannee Co., Florida, at age 79. Her body was buried in May 1929 at Live Oak Cemetery, Live Oak, Suwannee Co., Florida.²

     Elminer Bevan was born on 11 October 1855 at Lafayette Co., Florida.¹ She was the daughter of William R. Bevan and Hannah Townsend. Elminer Bevan died on 19 September 1859 at Lafayette Co., Florida, at age 3.¹ She was buried at Brown Cemetery, Lafayette Co., Florida.¹

     Hannah Bevan was born on 4 July 1861 at Lafayette Co., Florida.¹ She was the daughter of William R. Bevan and Hannah Townsend. Hannah Bevan died on 1 September 1902 at Lafayette Co., Florida, at age 41.¹ She was buried at Brown Cemetery, Lafayette Co., Florida.¹

     Mary Ann Bevan was born in February 1860 at Lafayette Co., Florida.¹ She was the daughter of William R. Bevan and Hannah Townsend. Mary Ann Bevan married (?) Cobb.²

     Preston Bevan was born circa 1857 at Lafayette Co., Florida.¹ He was the son of William R. Bevan and Hannah Townsend.

     William was born on 30 April 1796 at Wales. He married Mary Jane Ramsey, .¹ William died on 12 April 1879 at Hickory Grove Church, Madison Co., Florida, at age 82.
