She married Madison Ezekiel Bishop Kelly, son of Ezekiel Taylor Kelly and Nancy Adaline Horne, on 21 October 1906 at Houston Co., Alabama.¹ Lula died on 23 May 1964 at Largo, Pinellas Co., Florida, at age 80. Her body was buried at Largo Cemetery, Largo, Pinellas Co., Florida.

Her body was buried in June 1935 at Beulah Baptist Church, Madison Co., Florida.²
