     Orrin was born on 5 June 1903 at Atlanta, Fulton Co., Georgia. He married Mary Blanche Hanner, , on 22 December 1927 at Cobb Co., Georgia.¹ Orrin died on 20 May 1990 at Miami, Dade Co., Florida, at age 86.

     James Lomnick married Louisa Elizabeth Townsend, daughter of Benjamin I. Townsend and Jane Suggs, on 31 January 1862 at Lafayette Co., Florida.¹

     (?) Long married Ola Pearce Townsend, daughter of Asa Barton Townsend and Mary Jane Drew.

     (Dau.) was born in 1921. She was the daughter of Bradley Sampson Long and Thyra Ethel Scott. (Dau.) died in 1921.

     Bradley was born circa 1862 at Tomahawk, Sampson Co., North Carolina. He married Thyra Ethel Scott, daughter of George Taylor Scott and Ella Frances Jackson, on 3 May 1920 at Taylor Co., Florida.¹ Bradley died in August 1927. His body was buried at North Carolina.
     
Biography of Bradley Sampson Long:

Bradley Sampson Long worked on turpentine plantations as a woods rider, or camp manager. As the turpentine industry moved from North Carolina where he was born he followed it to Florida. It says on the census that he was a boarder with the Superintendent of the Naval Standard, which in the turpentine industry meant the naval stores or products that turpentine was used for. I recently learned from my Aunt Ruth that he had had 2 other children prior to marrying my grandmother. [Chris Long Henson, daughter of Thyra Scott]

     Bradley was born on 5 December 1922 at Florida. He was the son of Bradley Sampson Long and Thyra Ethel Scott. Bradley died on 23 April 1944 at Hawaii at age 21. His body was buried on 30 October 1947 at Barrancas National Cemetery.

Bradley Scott Long (nicknamed Nick by his stepfather Mr. Wells). He died in April l944 while on military duty in Hawaii but was not actually killed in combat. It was a vehicle accident.      Charles was born on 13 June 1983 at Travis AFB, California.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Long and Patricia Denise Thompson.

     Elizabeth "Betsy" Long was born circa 1762 at North Carolina. She was the daughter of James Long. Elizabeth "Betsy" Long married Light Townsend, son of Benedictus Townsend and Lucilla Light, on 1 June 1796 at Shelby Co., Kentucky. Elizabeth "Betsy" Long died on 27 April 1859 at Edmonson Co., Kentucky. She was buried at probably Brown-Townsend Cemetery, Mohawk Community, Edmonson Co., Kentucky.

A hand-written note made by Brent Bledsoe, Brownsville, Kentucky, on a family group sheet dated 27 Dec 1994, states that Elizabeth first married Samuel Deshroon on 22 Jan 1784, in Tyrrell Co., North Carolina.

Will of Elizabeth Townsend, Edmonson Co., Kentucky, Will Book 1:76, will dated 22 Sep 1856, proved May 1859, names son James, daughter Elizabeth Townsend, son-in-law Wm. S. Brown, two grandchildren John F. Dishroon and Louisa Deshoon, Lucy Brown and Nancy Dunn.¹

     H. was born circa 1890. He married Mae Kelly, daughter of Charles Henry Kelly and Mary Lee Borland.¹ H. died before 1970 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.

     Herlihy was born on 15 March 1924 at Lake Butler, Union Co., Florida. He was the son of Bradley Sampson Long and Thyra Ethel Scott. Herlihy died on 27 January 1968 at Vietnam at age 43.¹
     
Biography of Herlihy Townsend Long:

Herlihy Townsend Long (nicknamed Man by his family members for Daddy's little man, and nicknamed Jack by those who knew him after WWII)--born March 15, 1924--enlisted in WWII at the age of 16, stationed at Ft. Jackson, S.C., served all through WWII in Europe where he received a battlefield commission. Got out of service for a short time and married Joyce Namie. Rejoined the Army. They had 2 sons, Richard and Robert. They were divorced when he was sent to Korea and the boys stayed in Macon with their mother and grandparents. He then met Eilene Christensen in Japan and they married in Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas in 1958. My father was killed January 27, 1968, while in Vietnam. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetary.
