Biography of Noah W. Kelly:

Noah served as a private in the 1st Regiment of Georgia Militia in Capt. Charles Campbell's Company under the regimental command of Colonel Stokes in the Cherokee War.      The 1860 GA Mortality Schedule shows Noah W. Kelly age 49, Mail, born GA a Farmer having died in December of 1849 of Pneumonia which he had for 4 days. This is supported by the 1860 Census showing his wife, Louisa as head of family with 5 small children.

      OFF TO TEXAS

Mrs. Louisa Kelly, Mr. Noah Kelly, Mrs. Hunt and Master Tommie Hunt left last Sunday for Dallas, Texas, at which place they will locate. We hope they will be pleased with their new home. Both of these ladies have children in Texas, is why they leave Georgia.

     Oscar was born on 30 October 1869 at Terrell Co., Georgia.¹ He was the son of John Reuben Kelly and Cornelia Eleanor Kitchens. He married Sarah Frances Davis, , on 13 May 1894 at Taylor Co., Florida.² Oscar died on 1 January 1896 at Taylor Co., Florida, at age 26.³ His body was buried in January 1896 at New Hope Cemetery, Taylor Co., Florida.

     Otis was born on 11 December 1905 at Taylor Co., Florida. He was the son of George B. Kelly and Hattie Lufair King. Otis died on 14 June 1908 at Taylor Co., Florida, at age 2. His body was buried in June 1908 at Spring Warrior Church Cemetery., Taylor Co., Florida.¹

     Park was born on 12 March 1912 at Taylor Co., Florida.¹ He was the son of William Albert Kelly and Carrie Olive Weaver. He married Virginia (--?--), .¹

     Polly was born circa 1786. She was the daughter of Daniel C. Kelly and Sally Clifton. She married John Weathers, , on 16 November 1808 at Greene Co., Georgia.¹

     Rebecca was born circa 1836 at Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of George Wiley Kelly and Harriet Smith. She married Samuel C. Scott, son of Taylor R. Scott, on 6 January 1853 at Randolph Co., Georgia.² Rebecca died before 1890.

     Robert was born on 1 October 1909 at Paxton, Walton Co., Florida.¹ He was the son of Charles Hamilton Kelly Jr. and Stella Tucker. Robert died on 20 November 1974 at Panama City, Bay Co., Florida, at age 65. His body was buried at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Panama City, Florida.

Nov. 22, 1974: Mr. Robert Morris Kelly, 65, of 817 State Avenue, died at his residence Wednesday morning Nov. 20th. He had resided here since 1938, coming from Atlanta, Georgia. He was a Salesman
for Yates American Machine Co. He is survived by two sisters: Mrs. Mable K. Benedetto of Panama City and Mrs. Emogene Wilson of Castleberry, FL; one brother, Homer W. Kelly of Orlando and a number of Nieces and Nephews. The family will be at 816 Kelly Ave. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. (News Herald, Panama City FL.)

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Morris Kelly, 65, of 817 State Ave. who died Wednesday Nov 20th, will be held Saturday, 10 a.m. in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Si Mathison officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will be at 816 Kelly Ave. Thomas E. Smith, Frederick Jones, Barrett McGill, Winston Johnson, Frank Dyer and Lloyd Ware will serve as pallbearers.
