     Dalton was born on 14 August 1905 at Lafayette Co., Florida. He was the son of Walter Allen and Mollie Tompkins. He married Carrie Moses, . Dalton died on 28 July 1979 at age 73. His body was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Lafayette Co., Florida.¹

     Dalton Allen Jr. was the son of Dalton Francis Allen and Carrie Moses.

     Dexter was born on 14 August 1905 at Lafayette Co., Florida. He was the son of Walter Allen and Mollie Tompkins. Dexter died on 14 January 1907 at Lafayette Co., Florida, at age 1. His body was buried at Bethel Cemetery, Lafayette Co., Florida.¹

     Dora was born on 8 December 1927.¹ She was the daughter of John Quincy Allen and Thelma Myrtice Hammond.

     Dorothy Allen married Woodrow Hyson Williams, son of James Samuel Williams and Arfelia Bell "Arrie" Miller, on 9 April.¹

     Edna was born on 20 March 1909 at Lafayette Co., Florida. She was the daughter of Walter Allen and Mollie Tompkins. She married Broward N. Frier, son of Charles Newton Frier and Frances Hardee.¹ Edna died in 1977 at Lakeland, Polk Co., Florida. Her body was buried at Lakeland, Polk Co., Florida.

     Elmo was born on 12 May 1920 at Enigma, Berrien Co., Georgia.¹ He was the son of John Quincy Allen and Thelma Myrtice Hammond. Elmo died on 22 February 1990 at Jacksonville, Duval Co., Florida, at age 69.
     
Biography of Elmo Dutton Allen:

Elmo changed his middle name from Hutsell. He was born a sickly baby and almost died. He was born with a deformity in the chest area which is called by many people "pigeon chest". He always had weak lungs and was flat footed. However, these afflictions did not hinder him from serving his country during World War II. He fought in the European Theater of Operations. He landed in France shortly after D-Day and fought until the end of the war. He was in communications. He told me a story one time about the war. He and his group were being bombed heavily and were hiding in an area like a bomb shelter. He started to counting the number of seconds between the bombs and noticed that they were firing at a radio signal that had been left outside and was turned on. They were firing at the signal. He jumped out of the hole right after one of the bombs and turned the radio off. The bombing stopped and they were able to get out safely. Elmo did not like to talk about the war. He wrote an article about life
and war which was printed in the local newspaper. He won a purple heart. He loved doing family research and he and I went to many courthouses and graveyards while he was still alive. We picked many a beggarweed and sand burr off of us after visiting the graveyards. He had an eye for beauty and loved arranging flowers as well as growing them. He died suddenly after being admitted to the hospital for chest pain. Autopsy showed that he died of a dissecting aortic aneurysm which caused a pericardial effusion. [Alicia Rawls Allen]

     Franklin was born at Suwannee Co., Florida. Franklin died on 3 March 1976. His body was buried at New Harmony Church., Suwannee Co., Florida.

     Georgia was born in October 1858 at Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of William Allen and Charlotte (--?--). She married Columbus Jasper Sullivan, son of Jefferson Sullivan and Eliza Rogers, on 26 October 1890 at Madison Co., Florida.² Georgia died in January 1931 at Madison Co., Florida, at age 72. Her body was buried at Allen Cemetery, Pinetta, Madison Co., Florida.²

     Harrison was born in 1882. He married Meddie Lee Boatright, daughter of Felix Emmanuel Boatright and Martha Elizabeth Stanford.¹ Harrison died in 1970. His body was buried at Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Suwannee Co., Florida.
