     William was born on 11 June 1861 at Suwannee Co., Florida. He was the son of John M. B. Goodbread and Julia Ann Hardee. He married Flora N. Crosley, , on 12 January 1881.¹ He married Josephine Townsend, daughter of Joseph Townsend and Gracie Brown, on 24 December 1885 at Madison, Madison Co., Florida.² William died on 14 April 1930 at Ft. Myers, Lee Co., Florida, at age 68. His body was buried on 19 April 1930 at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Madison, Madison Co., Florida.

Biography of William Hardee Goodbread:

William was over six feet tall, very slim, and had a handle-bar mustache. It is said was one of the finest men, helped found his church in Bonita Springs, Lee Co., Florida. William and his wife, Josephine had moved to Lee County in 1910. They had a filling station/grocery store and orange grove on the side of the Imperial River and U.S. Highway 41.

     William was born on 30 June 1896 at Cherry Lake, Madison Co., Florida. He was the son of William Hardee Goodbread and Josephine Townsend. He married Cleo Bell Fitchett, daughter of John Samuel Fitchett and Maggie Bell Gibbs, on 23 September 1917 at Dublin, Laurens Co., Georgia.¹ William died on 7 May 1944 at Orlando, Orange Co., Florida, at age 47.

     Alvin was born on 17 September 1934 at Fruithurst, Alabama.¹ Alvin died on 29 April 1985 at St. Petersburg, Pinellas Co., Florida, at age 50. His body was buried on 3 May 1985 at Brooks, Fayette Co., Georgia.

     Charles P. Goodson married Audrey Erna Sullivan, daughter of Marion Daniel Sullivan and Anna Beryl Hallman.

     Dovie was born at Florida. She married Elijah F. Boatright, son of Felix Emmanuel Boatright and Martha Elizabeth Stanford, on 28 March 1908 at Suwannee Co., Florida.¹
