Allen was born on 26 October 1802 at Bulloch Co., Georgia. He was the son of Felix Geiger Sr. and Mary Margaret Martin. He married Abigail Riggs, , on 12 June 1826 at Wayne Co., Georgia. He married Mary Ann Beaufort, , on 25 February 1841 at Ware Co., Georgia. Allen died on 7 June 1873 at Duval Co., Florida, at age 70.2 His body was buried at Ogilivie Cemetery, Duval Co., Florida.

He and his children were down in Duval County, Florida, when he married Mary Ann Beaufort. They had six boys and four girs. The children of this family all lived in Florida. The girls starting families of Eubanks, Sapp, Hogans Ogilivies, Blitchs, Williams, Starretts and Wingates. Allen and Mary Ann are buried in Ogilivie Cemetery on Thomas Creek in Duval County. Felix was born on 30 September 1763 at South Carolina. He was the son of Hans Ulric Geiger and Appolina (--?--). He married Mary Margaret Martin, , circa 1788 at Effingham Co., Georgia. Felix died on 17 February 1827 at Wayne Co., Georgia, at age 63.
Biography of Felix Geiger Sr.:
"Felix was nineteen when the British surrendered Savannah. He could have made some effort in the freedom fight. He joined with brother Abraham in the request for land and received 100 acres 6 April 1789, in that part of Effingham County that later became Bulloch Co. (Book A, microfilm 64-68, 1783-1800) The same day his wife's brother James Martin, received 200 acres on the south side of the great Ogeechee river. Felix got another 50 acres in the same area in 1795, (Records PPPP 686)."
"Felix was married or in the notion when he asked for land to live on. He married Mary Martin and they should have had three or four children before their oldest known probable child. He and Mary made a deed in Bulloch County in 1810, (Annals of Georgia, page 1620). He was in the area when Ulrich's land was signed over to brother John."
