     Franklin Donaldson was the son of Robert Donaldson and Peggy Irwin.

     Furman Donaldson was the son of Joseph William Donaldson and Arametta Darby.

     Harry Donaldson was the son of Francis Marion Donaldson.

     James was born circa 1885 at Alabama. He was the son of Sarah Sallie Donaldson.

     James Donaldson was the son of James D. Donaldson and Dicie Ficklin.

     James Donaldson was the son of Robert Donaldson and Peggy Irwin.

     James was born on 22 February 1845 at Hacoda, Coffee Co., Alabama. He was the son of Joseph S. Donaldson and Nancy K. Beard. He married Dicie Ficklin, daughter of Joseph Ficklin. James died on 22 July 1912 at Chickasha, Grady Co., Oklahoma, at age 67. He was buried at Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha, Grady Co., Oklahoma.
     
Biography of James D. Donaldson:

"James D. Donaldson came home on leave from the Confederate army during the time of the Union held Pensacola, Florida, and didn't
return to the Confederate Army. The woods were full of people called runners, and they could get you in the Union Army at Pensacola and all you would have to do would be put on guard duty, and you wouldn't have to fight against your own people. He joined them and stayed at Pensacola until the war was over. He married after discharge, to one of Joe Ficklin's daughters and they all decided to move to Texas, and he went with them. It took nine months by wagon train for them to reach the settlement close to Dallas, the town they settled at for a while is no longer in existence. He was in the Oklahoma Territory in 1889 when they opened up the Cherokee Strip for Homesteading and made that run. He came back to Alabama in 1901, and stayed a few years to establish the fact that he had been a member of the Union Army so that he could draw a pension. Then returned to Oklahoma and married again. He died in Chicksha,
Oklahoma in 1912. None of his children ever came to Alabama, and no knows very much about them. They were:

     Jesse was born circa 1895 at Alabama. He was the son of Sarah Sallie Donaldson.

     Jessie Donaldson was the son of Joseph William Donaldson and Arametta Darby.
