     Ladislav was born on 28 May 1919 at Chrudim, Okres Chrudim, Czech Republic.¹ He was the son of Jan Burval and Anna Novotna. He married Marie Jenickova, daughter of Antonin Jenicek and Anna Bodanska, on 20 May 1944 at Nasavrky, Okres Chrudim, Czech Republic.¹ Ladislav died in May 1998 at Czech Republic.

     Lloyd was born on 11 July 1904 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.¹ He was the son of Frank Burval and Anna Hubert. He married Mary Amanda Shroyer, daughter of Robert Lincoln Shroyer and Lydia Ann Miller, on 11 February 1940 at Vincennes, Knox Co., Indiana.² Lloyd died on 31 October 1978 at N. Las Vegas Hospital, Clark Co., Nevada, at age 74.³ His body was buried in November 1978 at Palm Valley Cemetery, Las Vegas, Nevada.

He married Anna Tesarkova, daughter of Jan Tesark, on 22 January 1713 at Jimramov, Zdar nad Sazavou, Moravia, Czech Republic.² Martin died after 1719 at Moravia, Czech Republic.

     Martin was born circa 1774 at Janovice, Okres Chrudim, Czech Republic. He was the son of Vaclav Burval and Dorota Novotny. He married Anna Novak, daughter of Johanna Novak and Magdalena (--?--), on 22 June 1800 at Janovice, Okres Chrudim, Czech Republic.¹ Martin died before 1843 at Janovice, Okres Chrudim, Czech Republic.

Biography of Mary Burval:

Mary was employed as a domestic by the W. H. Foster family, 521 Bolton Road in Cleveland. On 11 Oct 1897, at age 19, she was found dead by Mr. Foster in the barn at the Foster home where she had taken her own life. The coroner's report on the death showed no reason as to why she took her own life. The report describes her as 5 feet 4 inches in height, brown eyes, dark hair, dark complexion and of medium habit. Family tradition is that she had a love affair that did not work out. The death record indicates she is buried in Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland.

     Matej was born on 7 February 1719 at Javorek, Zdar nad Sazavou, Moravia, Czech Republic.¹ He was the son of Martin Burval and Anna Tesarkova. He married Alzbeta Slavickova, daughter of Vaclav Slavicek and Anna (--?--), on 17 May 1744 at Jimramov, Zdar nad Sazavou, Moravia, Czech Republic.² Matej died before 1777 at Siroke Pole, Zdar nad Sazavou, Moravia, Czech Republic.³

     Paul was born on 18 September 1896 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.¹ He was the son of Frank Burval and Anna Hubert. He married Ann Loretta Metzger, daughter of George F. Metzger and Mary Corrigan, on 14 June 1927 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.² Paul died on 26 May 1986 at Calimesa, Riverside Co., California, at age 89.³ His body was buried on 29 May 1986 at Desert Lawn Park, Calimesa, California.⁴

Biography of Paul Joseph Burval:

Paul was educated in Cleveland Public Schools and was a Fireman for the City of Cleveland most of his life. I can recall as a youngster going on a Sunday afternoon to visit him at the firehouse. He allowed my cousins, but not me as I was too young, to slide down the firepole from the second story living quarters of the Fire House to the ground floor. Paul and his family lived at 1419 E. 93th Street in Cleveland during the 1930's and 40's. He retired from duty as a fireman around 1948 and moved to California. He built a home in San Gabriel and lived their for several years before moving to Calimesa, California. In his later years, he and his wife Ann, lived with their daughter Sally, in Calimesa. He is buried with his wife, Ann, in Desert Lawn Park, Calimesa, California.
