     Pearl Brooks was born on 28 January 1913.¹ She was the daughter of Luther Lee Brooks and Mary Elizabeth Brooks. She married Homer Eugene Tanner, son of Thomas Eugene Tanner and Cleo Tompkins.² Pearl Brooks died on 2 April 1994 at age 81.¹ She was buried at Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery, Washington Co., Georgia.

     Richard was born on 14 September 1870.¹ He was the son of Edmund H. Brooks and Sarah F. "Sallie" Yates. Richard died on 27 June 1894 at age 23. His body was buried at Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery, Washington Co., Georgia.

     Robert Francis Brooks was born on 15 February 1860 at Washington Co., Georgia.¹ He was the son of Amanda Ann Brooks. Robert Francis Brooks married Senann Miliary Waller, daughter of Jabez "Jay" Joines Waller and Nancy "Annie" Ann Sheppard, on 29 December 1880 at Washington Co., Georgia.¹ Robert Francis Brooks died on 7 December 1945 at Washington Co., Georgia, at age 85.¹ His body was buried at Brownwood Cemetery, Sandersville, Washington Co., Georgia.
     
Biography of Robert Francis Brooks:

Robert 's birth mother was Amanda Brooks. Because Amanda was not married, her father Jim (James) Brooks raised Robert as his own son. (By: Bertha Lord Wright, Belle Lord).
Robert was born in 1860. During the Civil War his family was living in the area of Brooks Springs. When Sherman came through the area with his destruction, to protect Robert from the troops, he was dressed in a dress as a little girl. A Mason flag was hung up in the yard. When Sherman showed up, he saw the flag and because of it being a Masonic flag he did not burn the house. Do not know if this was a flag or an apron used as one.

Robert was a curious person, strick, tight wad. He was tall, about 6 ft. weighed little over 200 lbs. Senaan his wife, was a very nice person. Robert always wanted her to do little things for him. At breakfast he would say something like this " give me just a mouth full more of coffee ". One morning when he said this, Senaan got a mouth full of coffee in her mouth then transferred it to his cup, he had a fit. Another time Robert stated he wanted just a mouth full more of biscuit, well Senaan bit a biscuit then transferred it to his plate. This was her way of getting back at him for his little demands.

The Sandersville Progress - Dec. 13, 1945 - AGED RESIDENT OF SANDERSVILLE DIES - Robert F. Brooks, 85-year-old resident of Sandersville, passed away last Friday after a short illness. Funeral services were conducted Sunday morning before church services from the Chapel of the Sandersville Funeral Home. Rev. T.A. Moseley officiating and interment was in the City Cemetery. Mr. Brooks had been making his home with his daughter, Mrs. John Prosser for the past several months. He was one of Washington County's oldest citizens and had innumerable friends and relatives through out this section of the state.
The deceased is survived by five children: Mrs. H.D. Lord and Mrs. H.B. Prosser, Davisboro; Mrs. S.F. Brooks and Mrs. M.O. Prosser, Savannah; and Mrs. John Prosser. He also left many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Relatives served as pallbeares.

     Ruby Brooks was born on 18 February 1908.¹ She was the daughter of Luther Lee Brooks and Mary Elizabeth Brooks. Ruby Brooks married Ray Daniel Jones on 3 December 1933 at Washington Co., Georgia.¹ Ruby Brooks died on 26 March 1995 at age 87.¹ She was buried at Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery, Washington Co., Georgia.¹

     Rufus William Greenleaf Brooks was born on 2 February 1853 at Washington Co., Georgia.¹ He was the son of William John Brooks and Sarah Elizabeth Tompkins. Rufus William Greenleaf Brooks died in 1925 at Johnson Co., Georgia.¹

     Sally Mae Brooks was born on 25 July 1892 at Sandersville, Washington Co., Georgia. She was the daughter of Robert Francis Brooks and Senann Miliary Waller. Sally Mae Brooks married Marion Owen Prosser, son of Robert Alonza Prosser and Mary Horton, on 15 October 1911.¹ Sally Mae Brooks died on 13 April 1949 at age 56.¹ She was buried at Corinth Leefield Cemetery, Bulloch Co., Georgia.¹

     Sarah was born in 1845 at Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of James Brooks and Hetty Amanda Tompkins. She married Nathaniel Yates, , on 26 December 1871 at Washington Co., Georgia.²

     Sarah Elizabeth Brooks was born on 3 June 1863 at Sandersville, Washington Co., Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of William John Brooks and Sarah Elizabeth Tompkins. Sarah Elizabeth Brooks married William Andrew McCoy, son of William McCoy and Edna Durden, on 12 February 1884 at Washington Co., Georgia.¹ Sarah Elizabeth Brooks died on 27 August 1938 at Uvalda, Montgomery Co., Georgia, at age 75.¹ She was buried on 28 August 1938 at Dead River Cemetery, Uvalda, Montgomery Co., Georgia.¹

     Silas Francis Brooks was born circa 1890 at Washington Co., Georgia. He was the son of Robert Francis Brooks and Senann Miliary Waller. Silas Francis Brooks married Orie Todd on 9 June 1912; Tabernacle News - On Sunday afternoon June 9, 1912 Mr. Silas Brooks and Miss Arrie Todd were happily married at the home of Mr. G.L. Armstrong near Popular Springs Church.¹ Silas Francis Brooks married Daisy (--?--).¹ Silas Francis Brooks died in 1975 at Statesboro, Bulloch Co., Georgia.¹ He was buried at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Savannah, Georgia.¹
     
Biography of Silas Francis Brooks:

STATESBORO - Silas Brooks - Silas F. Brooks, 85, died Friday at Bulloch County Hospital after a long illness.
He was a native of Washington County but had lived in the Eureka Community in Bulloch County for 54 years and was a retired farmer and Statesboro merchant. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Daisy S. Brooks of Statesboro; two sons, Robert Cecil and Charles B. Brooks, both of Savannah: a daughter, Mrs. J.D. Brooks of Virginia Beach, Va.: a sister, Mrs. Horace Lord of Sandersville: eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Monday at Smith-Tillman Mortuary in Statesboro with additional graveside services at 2p.m. in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah.¹

     Silas Newman Brooks was born on 30 May 1910.¹ He was the son of Silas Newman Brooks and Lunie Maggie Brown. Silas Newman Brooks married Everleen Brantley, daughter of Hudson Ivey Brantley and Katie Mae Horton.¹ Silas Newman Brooks died on 20 February 1982 at Veterns Hospital, Dublin, Georgia, at age 71.¹
