Cecil "Red" Brannan worked at the Bank of Greenville for many years. He retired in 1974 as President of the Bank.

     Celia was born circa 1810 at Screven Co., Georgia.^1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Brannen and Jane Humphreys. She married William A. Bennett, , on 19 February 1841 at Screven Co., Georgia.³

     Celia Elizabeth Brannen was the daughter of James Washington Brannen and Nelle Mae Millican.

     Clifford Brannen was the son of Edward Oliver Brannen and Ester Touchton. Clifford Brannen died in June 1998 at Thomasville, North Carolina.¹

     Cyrene was born on 9 November 1804 at Screven Co., Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of William Brannen and Elizabeth (--?--). She married Christopher Wesley Powell, , on 12 January 1825 at Jasper Co., Georgia.² Cyrene died on 30 December 1881 at Elmore Co., Alabama, at age 77. Her body was buried at Kimbrell Cemetery, Santuck, Elmore Co., Alabama.

     Daisy was born in June 1891 at Taylor Co., Florida.¹ She was the daughter of John O. Brannen and Sarah B. Gunter. She married Malcom Lee McMullen, , on 5 January 1913 at Taylor Co., Florida.²
