     Talmadge Wright was born on 22 September 1911.¹ He was the son of Clifford Carter Wright Sr. and Katie Lou Shelton. Talmadge Wright married Bertha Corine Lord, daughter of Horace Duggan Lord and Donie Esther Brooks, on 24 December 1934 at Sandersville, Washington Co., Georgia.¹ Talmadge Wright died on 2 February 2001 at Sandersville, Washington Co., Georgia, at age 89.¹
     
Biography of Talmadge Wright:

Worked his own farm. Retired after 59 years with Texaco Gasoline Co. Loved horses, showed Racking horses in saddle club shows for years.
MR. TALMADGE WRIGHT - Mr. Talmadge Wright, 89, of Sandersville died February 2, 2001 in the Washington Regional Medical Center.
Services were held February 4, 2001 in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Tennille. Burial was in Sisters Baptist Church Cemetery in Sandersville. The Rev. Keith Yelverton officiated.
Pallbearers were Byron Carter, Richard Welch, Clarence Durden, Varnie Ellington, Billy May, Thomas Daniel, James May and Jerry Andrews.
Mr. Wright was a native and life long resident of Washington County, the son of the late Clifford Carter Wright Sr. and the late Katie Lou Shelton Wright. He was the widower of the late Bertha Lord Wright and the father of the late C.H. Wright. Mr. Wright was a retired employee of Texaco Oil Company with 59 years of service and a farmer. He was a member of the Sisters Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Wright of Tennille and Billy Wright of Sandersville; a brother, C.C. Wright of Sandersville; three sisters, Agnes Wieland of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mary Chambers of Columbus, and Kathryn Stephens of Belton, South Carolina; eight grandchildren, John Wright, Cliff Wright, Deborah W. Meeks, Sharon W. Smith, Greg Wright, Mike Wright, Ken Wright and Shirl W. Lindsey, and thirteen great grandchildren.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. May and Smith Funeral Directors in Tennille was in charge of the arrangements.


BARBECUE and FAMILY REUNION on SUNDAY: Sandersville Progress, October 26, 1961.
Fifty-five were present at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Talmadge Wright on the Jordan Mill Road, on Sunday, Oct. 22 for a family gathering and barbecue dinner.

Fell in kitchen at home, in the Hospital discovered he had a bone marrow cancer, comman in people working with petrolleum products. Died at Washington Co. Hospital.¹

     Tommy Asa Wright was born on 7 September 1935 at Sandersville, Washington Co., Georgia.¹ He was the son of Talmadge Wright and Bertha Corine Lord. Tommy Asa Wright died on 19 February 2003 at University Hospital, Augusta, Richmond Co., Georgia, at age 67.¹

     He married Susannah Bullard, daughter of Asa Bullard and Jane Sarah Wicks, circa 1892 at Ottawa Co., Michigan.¹

     (?) was born at Poland. She was the daughter of Maciej Wunsch and (?) Vetter(Metter). She married Maurice Halter, son of Jozef Halter and Antonia (--?--), circa 1864 at Poland. (?) died at Poland.
     
Biography of (?) Wunsch:


      This is the older sister of Katherine. Her first name is not known. She died when her children by Maurice Halter were very young.

     Katherine was born on 14 December 1845 at Warsaw, Poland.¹ She was the daughter of Maciej Wunsch and (?) Vetter(Metter). She married Maurice Halter, son of Jozef Halter and Antonia (--?--), circa 1873 at Poland. Katherine died on 1 December 1927 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, at age 81.² Her body was buried on 3 December 1927 at Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.³
     
Biography of Katherine Wunsch:

Katherine married Maurice Halter after the death of her older sister, Maurice's first wife, and raised his children as though they were her own. In 1899, she immigrated to America to live with her step-daughter Emily Halter Sobon. Katherine was an excellent housekeeper and dressmaker. She was very immaculate, altruistic, very religous, had a great sense of humor and could be very contrary. She died of a cerebral hemorrhage in 1927, while visiting the home of her nephew, Julius Halter at 3475 W. 62nd Street, in Cleveland. She is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland next to her step grandson, John Halter.

     Maciej was born circa 1785. He married (?) Vetter(Metter), .¹ Maciej died circa 1873 at Poland.
     
Biography of Maciej Wunsch:


The parentage of Maciej are not known. He was tall, of medium weight, interested in astromomy, owned a very large vineyard and was rewarded a metal for life saving. He died in Poland from pneumonia. Maciej and his wife had 3 boys and 5 girls. Their names are not known, except for Katherine. One of the boys was a General in the Polish army. The maiden name of his wife was Vetter or Metter.

     Dustin Craig Wyatt was born on 27 January 1947. He died on 1 October 1988 at age 41.

     Mary was born circa 1788 at South Carolina.¹ She married James Kelly, son of Daniel C. Kelly and Sally Clifton, on 20 January 1808 at Greene Co., Georgia.²

     Waring was born in 1929 at Tallahassee, Leon Co., Florida.^1,2 He married Mary Louise Sullivan, daughter of John Luther Sullivan and Mary Louise Burnett, circa 1950 at Madison Co., Florida.³ Waring died in November 1982.
