MRS. C.F. TOWNSEND
Mrs. C.F. Townsend, age 87 years, an old resident of Orange Park, died at her residence at an early hour yesterday morning. She is survived by 10 children, six sons and four daughters. The funeral will take place this morning at 10 o'clock. The interment will be made in Gravelly Hill cemetery by Funeral Director William C. Cooper, Jr.[ Fla. TImes Union, 21 Apr 1915, p .14, col.4.]

     Ada was born on 20 September 1884 at Suwannee Co., Florida.¹ She was the daughter of William Newman Whatley and Temperance Annie Parker. She married J. Arthur Cox, , circa 1904.¹ Ada died on 7 December 1972 at age 88.¹

     Annie was born on 19 November 1892 at Suwannee Co., Florida.¹ She was the daughter of William Newman Whatley and Temperance Annie Parker. She married Grover Cleveland Johnson, , on 17 November 1916 at Lafayette Co., Florida.¹ Annie died on 9 June 1967 at Coral Gables, Dade Co., Florida, at age 74.² Her body was buried at Oaklawn Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida.²
