     Helen Waits was born on 11 January 1855. She married John Francis Townsend, son of Noah Townsend and Sarah "Sallie" Gillette, on 18 November 1873 at Alachua Co., Florida.¹ Helen Waits died on 16 March 1929 at Alachua Co., Florida, at age 74. She was buried at Townsend Cemetery, Hawthorne, Alachua Co., Florida.²

     Raymond W. Waits was born in August 1896.¹ He married Caro Lottie Townsend, daughter of James Light Townsend and Annie Rebecca Bell, on 16 August 1930.¹

     He married Bitha Ophelia Willmon, daughter of Joseph W. Willmon and Mary Ann Carroll.¹

     He married Clara Ann Carroll, daughter of Edward Walton Carroll and Mary Ann Elizabeth Neville.¹

     She married Julian Carroll, son of Wilson Rufus Carroll and Nancy Ann Hester.¹

     Alfred Darius Walker was born on 27 October 1850 at Aucilla, Jefferson Co., Florida. He married Rebecca Lillian Anna Singleton, daughter of Charles Carter Singleton and Fredonia Summerlin Townsend, on 26 February 1894 at Monticello, Jefferson Co., Florida.¹ Alfred Darius Walker died on 2 March 1919 at Aucilla, Jefferson Co., Florida, at age 68.¹ He was buried in March 1919 at Elizabeth Cemetery, Aucilla, Jefferson Co., Florida.¹

     Berry was born in 1833 at Ware Co., Georgia. He was the son of Thomas Walker and Elizabeth O'Steen. He married Georgia Ann Sullivan, daughter of Mitchell Sullivan and Elizabeth Ann Jones, on 12 January 1863 at Lafayette Co., Florida.² Berry died on 6 April 1904 at Mayo, Lafayette Co., Florida. His body was buried at Midway Baptist Church., Lafayette Co., Florida.³

Berry Walker served in the Conferate Army, Co. I, 2nd Regt. Fla Cal. ["Register of Deceased Veterans - Florida - No. 34 La Fayettee County" Veterans's Graves registration Project No. 65-1-35-2295 (1940-1941)]

     Berry Walker is listed for Company I, 2nd Florida Infantry as "(b. 1833; d. 4/6/1904 buried in Midway Cemetery, Mayo, Lafayette Co.) lived in Suwannee Co. and enlisted 6/4/61 at Jasper. He was wounded in the forearm at Sharpsburg 9/17/62 and furloughed 11/27/62. He never returned and was listed as AWOL on the last roll. He lived in Lafayette Co. after the war."
